A subcontractor PQQ checklist helps you match each answer to the buyer’s question and the proof it needs. A folder of policies is useful only when those files support your response.
Which question does each file in your PQQ pack actually answer?

Subcontractor PQQ Checklist: Read The Rules
Check pass-or-fail tests, dates, formats and word limits. Note scheme rules and use the query route where the brief is unclear.
Proof accepted by one buyer may not suit the next. Check the current rules before using an old answer.
Index The Evidence
List each question, file, owner and review date. Link the answer to the part that supports it.
Check the legal name, insurance scope and expiry dates. Use real work and team examples. A policy alone may not show how your team checks work or closes defects.
Your policies are filed. Can the buyer find proof for each answer?
- Rules
Check the tests, formats and due date.
- Evidence
Link each answer to current supporting files.
- Issue record
Check the final pack and keep proof of receipt.
Use the buyer’s exact questions to check the pack before submission.
Be Honest About Gaps
If asked about live-site work, use a real job of that type. If you lack one, say so and ask what other proof may be accepted.
Check the exact files sent and use a safe route for private records. Keep the issued answer and receipt, then update the master pack before the next bid.
General guidance. Check your signed contract and the job facts. Get legal advice where needed.
